Residential framing · drywall · trim

We frame and finish the houses your buyers move into.

Harbor Ridge is a residential subcontractor working for home builders. Our crews take a house from slab to trim: walls and roof, board and tape, doors and base. One company, one set of crew leads, one phone tree for the superintendent.

How we work with buildersWe're hiring carpenters

Three crews on every house

i.

Framing

Floor systems, walls, sheathing, stairs and roof framing. Our framing leads read the plans and the truss layout before the lumber drop, not after.

ii.

Drywall

Hanging, taping and texture. We walk the house with the builder before we board it, so nail pops and missing blocking get caught early.

iii.

Finish carpentry

Interior doors, base, casing, shelving and closets. The trim crew is often the last of our people a homeowner's walkthrough will notice.

Builders call us back for the same reasons.

We pick up the phone. We tell a superintendent on Monday when we can't make Thursday. We send the same crew lead to the next house in the phase so they already know the plan.

None of that is complicated, and it's most of what we do differently.

  • One crew lead per house, start to finish of our scope
  • Phase-by-phase scheduling for production builders
  • Walkthroughs before and after drywall
  • Punch items closed by the crew that did the work

Good carpenters are always welcome here.

We hire framers, finish carpenters, drywall hangers and tapers, laborers and apprentices who want to learn. Residential work means you see a whole house come together, and the drive home is usually shorter than a commercial job.
